Chuck Spano

Our Festival

The Ormond Beach Celtic Festival has become one of our community’s most beloved traditions, bringing together live music, culture, and connection in the heart of our historic district. What started as a passion project has grown into Ormond Beach’s largest festival, welcoming thousands each year to celebrate Celtic heritage in a way that feels both lively and deeply rooted.

Throughout the weekend, guests can experience two full days of traditional Highland Games, live performances from Celtic musicians across five stages, and multiple appearances from our headliner, Seven Nations. You’ll find a vibrant clan village, Celtic food and artisan vendors, beer and wine, and activity throughout the festival grounds.

This year, we’re introducing Highland cows and Celtic chalk art, while also bringing back sheep herding by popular demand. Families can enjoy a dedicated kid’s zone, petting zoo, putt-putt, and our Sunday dog parade, along with interactive experiences like axe throwing and more.

At the heart of it all was Chuck Spano, founder of the Ormond Beach Celtic Festival.

In Loving Memory…

Tree of Life

For 14 years, Chuck played a leading role in shaping the festival, working closely with musicians and performers to build something that was more than just an event. His vision was to create an experience where the music, traditions, and spirit of the Celtic community could be felt by everyone who attended.

His wife, Pat Spano, helped bring that vision to life visually, designing the unique artwork that has become a signature part of the festival each year.

Today, the festival continues to grow while staying true to the foundation Chuck helped build. The Spano family remains an important part of our community, continuing their service to Ormond Beach, Ormond Main Street, and the Celtic community as a whole.

We are proud to carry this tradition forward and to dedicate this year’s festival in Chuck’s honor, celebrating the legacy he created and the community he helped bring together.
