A People’s Choice Award will be given to the photographer whose image receives the greatest number of votes from the public. You are invited to visit the exhibit Tuesday – Friday from noon to 5:00 pm until June 28th when the show closes. Voting for People’s Choice ends the week prior. The Casements Camera Club is a group of photography enthusiasts from the greater Halifax area\, who share an interest in all kinds of photography. The Club meets on the 4th Thursday of every month at The Casements 25 Riverside Dr.\, Ormond Beach.

DESCRIPTION:This is a collection of a new body of work by professional artist and DSC instructor\, Stacey Fletcher Art examining personal perception & narrative… \n” Uprooted; a word embedded with displacement\, discomfort\, and often destroying familiarities. This exhibition addresses major shifts in a journey\, making connections to concepts and discoveries of ones “self”. The works evolved from an evolution of symbolic metaphors\, an obsession to make marks\, and to document memories & experiences. \nThis exhibition was created with a deconstructive process in mind. One of critical analysis of language that emphasizes the relationship to meaning and forms of expression. Often viewers create assumptions implicit in forms of expression\, but I ask the audience to appreciate the seductive materials and process\, more so than to try and read into the works. For me\, the works are a narrative\, a means of communication\, a page in ones story of life. SUMMARY:Uprooted: Deconstructing Works by Stacey Fletcher
DESCRIPTION:This is a collection of a new body of work by professional artist and DSC instructor\, Stacey Fletcher Art examining personal perception & narrative… \n” Uprooted; a word embedded with displacement\, discomfort\, and often destroying familiarities. This exhibition addresses major shifts in a journey\, making connections to concepts and discoveries of ones “self”. The works evolved from an evolution of symbolic metaphors\, an obsession to make marks\, and to document memories & experiences. \nThis exhibition was created with a deconstructive process in mind. One of critical analysis of language that emphasizes the relationship to meaning and forms of expression. Often viewers create assumptions implicit in forms of expression\, but I ask the audience to appreciate the seductive materials and process\, more so than to try and read into the works. For me\, the works are a narrative\, a means of communication\, a page in ones story of life.
