SUMMARY:Daytona Beach Concert Band - Memorial Day Celebration
DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, May 28\, the Daytona Beach Concert Band will host a special Memorial Day Patriotic Concert at the Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center to honor military service members past and present.  The concert will begin promptly at 2:00 PM. This is a free and family-friendly community event open to the entire public.  Refreshments will be provided. \nAs part of the program\, the Daytona Beach Concert Band will perform patriotic and musical theatre selections\, featuring Gwen Watson\, who is also a U.S. Navy veteran.  Additionally\, a Patriot of the Year ceremony will be conducted\, honoring several local patriots in the Volusia County community. \nColonel (Ret) Skip Keating\, said\, “We invite the Volusia community to join us for this special patriotic concert which is sure to be wonderfully entertaining and also an inspiring precursor to the other Memorial Day commemorations taking place throughout the community.”  \nFor additional information\, call Colonel Vicki Leignadier at 386-236-9300.
