DESCRIPTION:Old Florida Plantation Tour\nSunday\, February 7\, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.\nThe Ormond Beach Historical Society and Tomoka State Park sponsor an annual tour of area plantations with interpretative guides and re-enactors.\n\nActivities begin at 10 a.m. with a guided tour of the Bulow Plantation Ruins State Park.\nAt 11:30 a.m. re-enactors will tell the stories of James Ormond and Thomas Henry Dummett at James Ormond Park\, site of the Ormond Tomb.  \nBring a lunch to enjoy at Tomoka State Park on the site of the Oswald Plantation.  Guided walking tours within the park begin at 1 p.m.  \n\nPlease dress appropriately; bring water and bug repellent. Rain or shine!\n \nTickets are  $12\, OBHS members  $10 \, Ages 8-12  $5\n\nRESERVATIONS REQUIRED. Close to 500 quilts will be on display\, with more than $50\,000 in prizes to be awarded for quilting excellence. In addition\, AQS QuiltWeek will host a series of workshops with some of the top talent in the quilt industry and an extensive Merchant Mall comprised of both local and national vendors. The Byrd’s Nest Quilt Shop will be among the many upscale vendors on site. \nIncluded in the exhibits are SAQA: People & Portraits\, and an exhibit of miniature quilts from The National Quilt Museum. Evening events feature quilting celebrities presenting their unique spin on fabric\, quilting\, and life\, including dynamic sessions with award-winning quilters\, such as Karen K.
