DESCRIPTION:This is a collection of a new body of work by professional artist and DSC instructor\, Stacey Fletcher Art examining personal perception & narrative… \n” Uprooted; a word embedded with displacement\, discomfort\, and often destroying familiarities. This exhibition addresses major shifts in a journey\, making connections to concepts and discoveries of ones “self”. The works evolved from an evolution of symbolic metaphors\, an obsession to make marks\, and to document memories & experiences. \nThis exhibition was created with a deconstructive process in mind. One of critical analysis of language that emphasizes the relationship to meaning and forms of expression. Often viewers create assumptions implicit in forms of expression\, but I ask the audience to appreciate the seductive materials and process\, more so than to try and read into the works. For me\, the works are a narrative\, a means of communication\, a page in ones story of life. There are 27 photographers participating in the show consisting of 50 different images in a variety of styles and subject matter. All pieces are available for purchase. A People’s Choice Award will be given to the photographer whose image receives the greatest number of votes from the public. You are invited to visit the exhibit Tuesday – Friday from noon to 5:00 pm until June 28th when the show closes. Voting for People’s Choice ends the week prior. The Casements Camera Club is a group of photography enthusiasts from the greater Halifax area\, who share an interest in all kinds of photography. The Club meets on the 4th Thursday of every month at The Casements 25 Riverside Dr.\, Ormond Beach.

One of critical analysis of language that emphasizes the relationship to meaning and forms of expression. Often viewers create assumptions implicit in forms of expression\, but I ask the audience to appreciate the seductive materials and process\, more so than to try and read into the works. For me\, the works are a narrative\, a means of communication\, a page in ones story of life. DESCRIPTION:Take a walk though the imagination of artists Adonna Khare\, Cindy Burkett and Don Nedobeck and enjoy the fanciful creatures they capture. \nKhare’s large scale pieces are intricate graphite work\, and she was the winner of a $200\,000 People’s Choice prize at Art Prize.  Cindy Burkett creates intricate collages  from recycled magazines and other materials that draw viewers in to find their surprising secrets\, and Nedobeck’s popular characters what he calls “caricatures in watercolor”.

SUMMARY:Casements Camera Club Exhibit
DESCRIPTION:The Casements Camera Club is presenting their 6th Annual Spring Exhibit of the member’s photography. There are 27 photographers participating in the show consisting of 50 different images in a variety of styles and subject matter. All pieces are available for purchase. A People’s Choice Award will be given to the photographer whose image receives the greatest number of votes from the public. You are invited to visit the exhibit Tuesday – Friday from noon to 5:00 pm until June 28th when the show closes. Voting for People’s Choice ends the week prior. The Casements Camera Club is a group of photography enthusiasts from the greater Halifax area\, who share an interest in all kinds of photography. The Club meets on the 4th Thursday of every month at The Casements 25 Riverside Dr.\, Ormond Beach.

DESCRIPTION:Join us in raising money for Walk to End Alzheimer’s on June 21st at Fletcher’s Irish Pub. We will be creating a beautiful painting while enjoying drinks\, food\, games\, and laughter. \nEverything needed to complete the painting will be provided by Lauren’s Art Club. The stretched canvas will be supplied along with the acrylic paints and brushes needed to create the painting. \nThe tickets are $25 and $10 of your ticket price will be donated to Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Drink specials will be available among a full bar of liquor\, beer\, and wine.
