DESCRIPTION:The Florida Artists Group will bring the work of 20 members\, all professional artists\, to an exhibit from  November 9\, 2018 – January 13\, 2019. (Check Museum website for holiday hours)\n\nThe “Influenced by Sound” exhibition will feature 38 pieces including painting\, sculpture and photography. While creating work for this exhibit\, each artist was inspired by a specific sound. As a result\, the exhibit reflects a wide range of emotions\, including the calming effects experienced while listening to music and the grief experienced in the aftermath of gun violence.\n\nAs an interactive exhibit component\, visitors can view the work and try to imagine what kind of sound might have influenced the artist.\n\nThe group\, called FLAG\, was incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1949 representing professional artists.
